Kenny Haakon has decided to return to his earlier team, Team Z, in order to help with its come-back. Former top team, Team Z, recently appeared in a few races, and with good economics, it was no problem to get back Kenny Haakon. Team Zyte wishes him the best in the future.
The departure of Kenny Haakon was however tough on the team. Gustavo Zanoi, Åsmund Mikkelsen and Haakon's right hand on Team Zyte Demeter Sabik instantly left the team in order to search for new jobs - jobs where they can reach personal ambitions instead of helping a captain to the victory.
"I hope to join a team in one of the lower divisions and help it come to the top", said Gustavo Zanoi.
It would though be easy to imagine that the 3 sprinters could ride their own chances now that now that the team's lead is gone. However, rumours say that team manager Nick Lissner is removing the focus from the sprinting races. With Haakon gone, this might be the end of a sprinting team on Team Zyte.
The team was said to be going some tough financial problems, but with the cut-off of a sprinting team of such a calibre, there should no longer be any problems.
Team manager Nick Lissner had no comments on the situation.
